With a three-decade immersion in the financial industry, Todd Rabalais, owner and CEO of Innovative Estate Management, tells people, “Start the planning process as early as you can and save even more than you think is necessary because retirement often comes earlier than most people realize.”

Todd has a passion for helping people grow and protect their wealth and takes a holistic approach to each client’s retirement plan, which includes tax and legal planning through the firm’s strategic partnerships with local professionals in those fields. “It is quite satisfying to meet with those same satisfied clients year after year with them appreciating our attention to detail and individualized attention that we aim to give each and every one of them,” Todd shares.

After beginning his career in Baton Rouge, Louisiana in 1993 with a property/casualty agency, Todd eventually joined a financial planning firm in Dallas, climbing the corporate ladder to become the wealth management director. In 2015, Todd and a business partner took the leap and opened Innovative Estate Management. He later bought out his partner and is now the sole owner. Todd holds licenses in life, health and annuities and has passed the Series 65 securities exam.

When he is away from the office, you can find Todd with the love of his life, Michelle, who is the firm’s Marketing Director. They have been married since 1997 and have two adult daughters, Lauren and Lindsay, as well as a Cavachon named Callie. Todd enjoys swimming, biking and golfing in the Allen, Texas, heat — and traveling to get out of it.
